Amanda Griffin is a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). She graduated from Seneca College in Toronto, Canada with a degree in Early Childhood Education, graduating with high honors in 2009. She has been working with children of all ages for over 15 years in school, home and clinical settings. While working as a teaching assistant in a kindergarten classroom, she experienced first hand children on the spectrum, ABA therapy and the amazing benefits it provided the children. She went on to complete her post graduate certificate in Autism and Behavioral Science from Seneca College, also graduating with high honors in 2012.
After taking a career break to raise her 2 wonderful children, Amanda returned to the field obtaining her RBT certification in early 2020. Entering the field of ABA and working closely with BCBA’s, extends her growth in the early childhood field as well as fulfilling a personal desire to give back to those with special needs. Amanda’s favorite part of the job is helping children gain independence in their daily living skills and helping them to improve communication. Working one on one to enhance the lives of children, along with providing assistance and support to the families who love them, is extremely rewarding to her.
She is beyond excited to join the San Diego ABA team!
