Lauren Connor
Lauren Connor has been working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for over 8 years. She has always had a passion for working with children: coaching sports teams, being a nanny, and volunteering in the community with children with diverse needs. After completing her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Southern California, Lauren researched the certification process to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Lauren was inspired by the idea of positively impacting individuals so she dove right into the field! In 2014, while working as a Behavior Technician, she earned her Masters of Education and BCBA and has since worked in clinical leadership roles, such as Supervisor and Quality Manager.
Lauren believes in a holistic approach and the importance of collaboration and teamwork necessary for successful outcomes. Her experience ranges from toddlers to adults and across multiple settings, including home, community and schools. She has many years of experience in school districts, in which responsibilities included collaborating on Individualized Education Plans (IEP) and behavior plan implementation across school environments. She enjoys longitudinal planning, specifically goal development and identifying the progression of services (i.e. next steps). Lauren loves working closely with parents, in order to identify important areas of need and work on overall quality of life within the home. She recently acquired Project ImPACT for Toddlers certification, in order to implement parent coaching and target areas of need within their child’s development. Lauren continues to look for opportunities to increase her knowledge and skill set in order be the best clinician for her families and make effective, long lasting changes!
