Hello, my name is Talia Gaytan. I am an RBT with four years of experience working in the field. I am beyond proud to join the San Diego ABA team, and with utilization of my expertise of working in the mental health field in collaboration with my background in ABA, I am confident that I will meet the needs of my clients and their families. I have a drive to compassionately help my clients reach their full potential, while lovingly providing the tools necessary for reaching a better quality of life. I am passionate about working with children. I believe that every child deserves the opportunity to be who they are, to feel a sense of safety in their own skin, and to be given the same compassion and respect that adults expect for themselves.
As a future BCBA clinician, I am guided to make sure the said, and unsaid, by my clients is heard, and acknowledged. I obtained a bachelor's of science degree in Psychology from Arizona State University, and am on the path to beginning my Master's program in Social work this coming January. I plan on obtaining my BCBA credential as well. I believe it is essential that every individual involved in a field of helping young children have a thorough understanding of behavior analysis. I am excited to work, develop, and create an environment where differences are valued and encouraged by establishing and maintaining effective relationships with families and clients from diverse backgrounds.
